Campsite Elim Part 7 (Thanksgiving)

“Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there by the waters” (Ex. 15:27) NKJV

So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain” (Ex. 3:12).

“So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites” (Ex. 3:8).

“…though it may now be necessary for you to be sad for a while because of the many kinds of trials you suffer. 7 Their purpose is to prove that your faith is genuine. Even gold, which can be destroyed, is tested by fire; and so your faith, which is much more precious than gold, must also be tested, so that it may endure” (1 Peter 1:6-7) TEV.

“Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men” (Psalm 107: 15) NKJV

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever” (Psalm 136:1)

“Behold, I will restore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob and have compassion on his dwellings; the city shall be rebuilt on its mound, and the palace shall stand where it used to be. Out of them shall come songs of thanksgiving, and the voices of those who celebrate. I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will make them honored, and they shall not be small. Their children shall be as they were of old, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all who oppress them” (Jer. 30:18-20) ESV
